A lasting first impression will go a long way to successfully grabbing a web user’s interest. A lasting first impression is one that stimulates something inside of the user and makes them want to explore a site. On the internet, web designers try to excite one or both of the senses accessible, sight and sound.

Web designers can sometimes get caught in a rut and need to search out ideas to get the juices flowing again. Sometimes one may go out to just look at nature, or maybe an art museum to gain inspiration. Other times, its as easy as opening a web browser and looking for inspiration created by fellow web designers.

I have complied this list to show what I have found while in a recent creativity “rut.” I hope this may get some of you out of your “ruts” as well.

A one page information site for Mary Knapke, singer from Sidney, Ohio.  She performs with many different groups and is available for hire for many events in Southwest Ohio.  The site is BigBandBabe.com. She also performs with the Simple Harmony Vocal Trio.

I have recently completed the site build for simple-harmony.com.  The work was for the Simple Harmony Vocal Trio based out of Dayton, Ohio.  They perform at many places in southwest Ohio.  If you are looking for entertainment for you event I strongly encourage you to visit their site.  Simple Harmony is Mary Knapke, Sherri Heidemann, and Tod Huston.  They were referred to me by Jean Ann Smith from One More Time Swing Band also another performing group from Dayton, Ohio.

I am also currently working on another site for Mary Knapke for another group. It should be done soon.

This afternoon, I will be updating the projects page with all the current information.  This weekend I will be working on finishing the artwork page as well.
